Quality of rug is checked by its number of knots. Number of knots vary in different rugs but usually is around 120 KPSI. “Ziegler Sultanabad” is its new improved form. Ziegler is considered favorite for many interior designers. They were named after Ziegler & CO. of Manchester, England. In 1870’s, this company started to export these rugs to England and took commission.
