Turkish Rugs From Aviram Aziz Inc.

We would like to welcome you to visit Aviram Aziz Inc, one among the most trusted sources for decorative and antique rugs. Turkish rugs offered by us are especially in high demand due to their extensive handwork and impressive designs. We offer an extensive collection of Turkish, Persian, Chinese, Caucasian and European rugs for you to choose from.
Turkish rugs are the first oriental rugs which were exported to Europe from the port of Istanbul. These rugs are particularly used for covering tables rather than floors. These rugs are basically categorized into two-Hand knotted and Factory made. Hand knotted rugs are made by Turkish tribesmen nomads. These rugs rarely use depictions of animals in designs because Islamic laws have banned the display of live beings in rugs and carpets. However these rugs often contain impressive geometric patterns which make it extremely appealing and apt to be used in interior decoration. We make sure that the rugs and carpets offered by us are of top quality to ensure customer satisfaction.
Our offerings are sourced from skilled craftsmen from different parts of the world.  Turkish rugs are coarser compared to other oriental rugs although it is easy to clean and maintain them. A wide range of such rugs are available at our website in varying prices. There are cheap ones with minimal designs and also expensive ones with intricate designs. It is up to the consumer to choose the ones that match their needs and requirements. Turkish kilims can often be obtained at cheaper prices tags whereas factory made silk rugs are available at slightly elevated price tags. Kum-Kapu and Hereke rugs are the most expensive type of Turkish rugs. Cheaper types include Oushak, Sparta and Sivas. Even those these rugs come at affordable price tags, they are made from high quality wool which makes them extremely durable. Hereke rugs which are comparatively expensive are made from Silk, hence the heavy pricing. These rugs are suitable to be used to cover furniture or beds and are not appropriate to be used as floor coverings.
We focus on Aubussons, Heriz and Serapi, Lavar and Kerman, Sarouk, Sultanabad, Tabriz, Oushak and Tapestries when it comes to carpets.  Turkish rugs gained tremendous popularity in European and American households prior to the Second World War. These rugs were commonly used to cover library floorings and dining room floors back then. The popularity of these rugs has been increasing since then and currently these rugs are exported to different parts of the globe. Most of the original Turkish rug makers were Greeks and Armenians who settled in Turkey. Current generations of rug makers carry on the legacy by producing traditional rugs with precision and quality.
Most of our customers find our service very valuable and often return to us for purchasing exclusive products. Modern day Turkish rugs are not considered to be as good as antique ones. This is because modern rugs are made using synthetic dyes which makes the contrast and color a lot bolder than what is found in traditional ones.
